Trey Branson Exclusive:

Recently speaking with HipHopDX's Shirley Ju, the Maybach Music Group artist said that he already had money when he earned his first advance.
"I had money a little bit already so I just added it to my bank account," Meek Mill said via a segment of today's (July 1) DX Daily. Meek also was asked about his MMG boss, Rick Ross' recent prison stay.
"Free Rick Ross," he said in response. "I'm praying for my homie to make it through it and hopefully he'll make it through it well."
Rick Ross was arrested on June 24 for kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges after it was reported that he, and an accomplice, pistol-whipped his landscaper, chipping his teeth and causing other damage. Ross is currently being held in prison and was denied bond for the incident. He is slated to face a Superior Court hearing today.

Meek Mill is one his way home to having his first ever number one album.
It's safe to say you are already winning at life when you can call Nicki Minaj you’re girlfriend, but add a number one album into the mix and you’re absolutely scorching, which looks to be the case for Meek Mill right now.
According to Billboard and their industry forecasters, Meek’s new album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, is heading towards the #1 spot this week and could move north of 200K copies sold in its first week (ending July 5). If these numbers remain true, it will easily set the MMG mogul atop of the Billboard 200 chart and serve as his first ever number #1 album. In 2012, Meek’s Dreams & Nightmares came just shy of that landing him the #2 spot on Billboard with 165k in its opening week.
Meek’s latest single, "All Eyes On You,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown has entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the #81 spot with every intentions of climbing up it quickly.
We’ll update you next week when the official numbers come in. Until then, stream the album over here and show your support on iTunes.
